This book contains the official proceedings of the International Symposium on Entrepreneurship and Innovation, organized by the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Padua, Italy, in collaboration with the European Council on Entrepreneurship and Small Business and the Italian Association of Management Engineering. The Symposium took place in Venice from the 23 to 25 of the May 2012 and put together an an international community of junior researchers and senior scholars, presenting their scientific results and projects concerning entrepreneurship and innovation. The Scientific Committee of the Symposium is composed by leading professors and scholars coming from Italian, British, American and Chinese universities.
